It has been both my privilege and responsibility to work with children, youth, families, couples, individuals, groups, employers and institutions for over 20 years as a clinician, psychotherapist, trainer, educator and community-based researcher.

I have significant experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and in conjunction with them, my work is to promote wellness as an integral part of their overall health.

I am a member in good standing with the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

In my private practice, I provide assessment and therapeutic interventions to work with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression,substance use disorder, relationship issues, separation and divorce,culture shock, intergenerational conflicts, stress,abuse,trauma,or PTSD.

I have a Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology, Bachelor of Education and Grief and Bereavement Studies at Western University and extensive training and experience in the areas of Anxiety, Depression, Substance Use Disorders, Risk Assessment, Trauma Response, Rehabilitation Psychotherapy, Grief and Bereavement, Transcultural Communication, Family Mediation and Conflict Management.

I have also been trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Exposure Therapy, Multicultural Therapy, Trauma-Informed Approach and Practice, Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Structural Family Therapy, Mindfulness and New Ways for Families approach.

I have also acquired relevant learnings through my in-depth participation in initiatives such as Kanawayhitowin and Neighbours Friends and Families.
