My goal is to provide you with the highest quality, evidence-based psychological services. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients who are struggling with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, relationship difficulties, and stress. CBT refers to a range of cognitive and behavioural treatments including exposure therapy, cognitive restructuring, and mindfulness. My preferred approach is a “third wave” CBT that combines these treatments known as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). The aim of this treatment is to help clients reduce negative emotions and create rich, meaningful lives. I have 25 years of experience providing CBT. In addition, I have published research on this topic, and I regularly teach a CBT course to graduate students in clinical psychology at the University of Manitoba. If you are struggling emotionally it will be my pleasure to help you!
